OBJECTIVES
Acquiring the knowledge about the 5G Broadcast Technology related to Public Service Media following the regulations of 5G Infrastructure Public Private Partnership (5G PPP).
Starting from the analysis of legacy LTE eMBMS solutions, the course will cover the radiofrequency implementation and the network topology structure needed for the specific 5G Broadcast service. Furthermore, the new Cloud-native Core Network approach will be discussed, in order to better understand the opportunity of slicing and Edge Computing flexibility by adding the Broadcast service in 5G complete infrastructure.
