OBJECTIVES
This course provides trainees with knowledge on the access network structure, unbundling issues and voice, video and data services available to end users through the use of xDSL and FTTx technologies. The course describes the VDSL2 technology and the FTTH typical implementations as well as the protocol architecture used by broadband services over these infrastructures. Moreover, a comparison between the main authentication methods for subscribers is provided.

PREREQUISITES
Digital transmission and main modulation techniques basic skills.
